If you would like support, it is quite disheartened and in the past failed to follow through as mates were get over it.
Couple of trashed bikes and motorbikes, and still get the fear around on coming vans vehicles turning right. Taxis doing uturns and being squished by buses

100%, still super skittish and anxious around faster close passing traffic. Especially if I dont have eyes on vehicles I can hear ... and predictably I'm in ultra high alert when riding with my son.
I also hadn't really clocked until recently how much it had affected me off the bike too. Reading here and on other threads a lot of others have experienced the same sort of low / depression post crunch.
Beyond the obvious (trauma and anxieties), after a bit of time to process I figure it's rational to feel heavy when one your favourite ways to spend time by yourself (or with family / friends) has been compromised in some way. Also having some drunk cunt squash a bike that you've put time, thought and energy into is always going to be a bit heart breaking.

Drunk cunt that left the scene of an accident. Let's not overlook the scale of what they did.
Think this is PTSD, as there was a scary, shocking and dangerous event. Hope you find peace. Or find a way to cope with the effects.
IKR ... its the only way
