Everybody is within the normal distribution, the question is how many standard deviations they are from the mean.

Barhigh should be about 1" taller than Barlow just because UK adult male median height has been growing at about 1" per generation lately.

I have witnessed a 6’5” friend go up to another tall person he’d never met before at an event and say “hey man, tall off?”

Said stranger without batting an eyelid went “alright, sure” and stood back to back with my mate as if it was completely normal behaviour. My mate won (about 2cm taller), they shook hands and that was it.

At 5'8.5", I am a giant in rural Aberdeenshire where I grew up. So I moved to Brixton, where people pat me on the top of the head as they stride past. I have no idea what psychological need that was answering.

I do hope the kid is staying off social media for a bit, being cyber bullied by the nation can't be nice.
