It’s a Fuzz Face pedal. The gadget that gave Jimi Hendrix his tone. Supposed to distort the guitar in a pleasing way but it actually does nothing. Let’s the undistorted signal through, then when you hit the foot switch it just cuts out entirely.

I'm trying to follow the board vs. the schematic (and failing) but assuming you've got everything in the right spot, the soldering ain't gonna help. Checked the rails haven't been joined with overflow? Or the component legs themselves aren't shorting?

Is one of the transistors facing the wrong way?
The diag has them same direction, but from the pic it looks like one is arse about.

Soldering ironists, I need help!
I have a doodad that I wish to re-house which has these three buttons on the back of it (circled). I wish to disconnect these and replace them with the microswitches pictured and relocate them on the new housing.
I'm 99% certain the buttons are only momentary (holding them longer has no additional functions).
Can someone advise me on the appropriate way to go about this?
I can solder ok, it's more the re-wiring I'm struggling with.

Basically thread title. I'd need 4 wires be soldered on a small circuit (di2 switch), but not confident enough in my soldering skills. Anyone for beerz/cash/forum donation?

Given that the last post 2 years ago didn't seem to garner any responses this might be a pointless dredge but,
I took a gamble on this little 'untested' Minox Leica on ebay and it is dead as a dodo.
I opened it up and found one of the two wires which connect a smaller board with two contacts, accessible on the bottom of the camera to main board was broken so I've resoldered that but still no bueno.
Beyond a visual inspection I'm pretty much out of my depth so does anyone that's handy with electronics fancy taking a look at it and I'll reimburse with beers/cash/donation?
I'd have to send it to you as I'm in Glasgow.

Hello all, don't know if anyone can assist - I have a 6+ year old Revo radio that we love, but we had a power cut the other week and when the power came back on... it didn't!
I'm hoping it's repairable, Revo say that as it's more than 6 years old they won't look at it, does anyone know and can recommend anywhere North Londony that might be able to help?

All straightforward, small allen key bolts holding the back on so all comes off for access without issue. I know this because I opened it up to look myself then remembered I didn't have a clue what I was doing so put it all back together!

Great thanks!
I think I could do better if I did it again. Hadn’t soldered anything in quite a while. And never anything this fiddly.
