What time is it? Watches and horology

The SKX GMTs have been in my basket forever. Couldn't decide between the colours - leaning towards the blue raspberry slightly. Jubilees on them look sound, so good to get your take.

The one on the other 5 Sports Reissue was OK, but much prefer the leather I switched it to.

(Would let this go for £275 delivered + box and papers if any interest)

I mean, they’re still Seiko 5s at the end of the day, they’re not going to blow your mind but the solid end links make a big difference for me and I find it very comfortable. Much better than the oyster style on the regular 5KX 5 Sports.

I do like the SSK GMTs. I have the black version but there’s a grey/pepsi version they did for the US market that is my favourite by far. Still think about trying to pick one of those up.

The recent white/silver one is also nice, but I expect the light dial makes it look bigger.

Yeah, those bracelets are fine but not amazing. Looks great on the leather.

Enjoying it?

To the point I've only worn my SBGP013 once since I've had this. So I'm more motivated to sell that now. I'll stick it up on C24. Sold my Green Clifton in a day on there recently. Sample group of one but couldn't have gone smoother I'll swallow the higher commission for minimum hassle and I still made a little bit on it even after fees.

Thats ok then. If everyone is profiteering then we’re good. 🙄

Just had an email from Casio saying they've had a data breach incl name, address & email but at this time, there is no evidence that its sensitive data...

If I had one available at retail you would be welcome to it.
But we don’t and won’t for the foreseeable.
I don’t think it’s fair saying it’s a rip without knowing what we had to pay for it.
Yes we have a profit in it but we are a business after all.
Whilst there are people wanting to buy them at £20k plus then people will sell them.
And the chap who bought it was grateful at the saving over the one he had seen at watchfinder.

Had a peep at a white one in H Samuel today and it looked a bit cheap next to the others. Wouldn’t recommend that one. Blue, green, black ones all nice.

I might go check them out. The other thing is that the Alpinist GMTs ended up stealing their thunder. Really like the SPB377/79 but not sure which of the too I prefer. Probably black.

Left this in the van a week or so ago and forgot about it. Found it today and put it on… then forgot I was wearing it. Perfect.
