multi colour is nice for putting contrasting text into labels on prints without it going too long esp if you can orient them face down on the plate.
the killer use case for the ams for me is still the autoswap feature when you run out and just being able to store different types of filament and not have to faff changing them in and out.
annoyingly my x1c needs unclogging today as i was trying to print some multiboard tiles for my workshop but they kept lifting off the plate so i recalibrated the filament and got a perfect first layer and then nothing else came out but looked like nothing was wrong so it just kept going like that for about 30 mins. ffs.
sorting an extruder clog is less hassle than it feels, i just didn't want to be dealing with it.
Right, so that was 9h30m print time, 140g wastage and 40g cute cat. Yikes.
Kids love it though.
