Have you checked it’s warm enough? You should use a hairdryer to get the material warm and flexy to get it into position. A strong staplegun needs short short staples or you’ll punch through on the sides.

Yeah I was heating it. The material might be the issue not to mention my inability to complete the task. It was cheap stretchy vinyl off eBay.
I see some sellers with a pre cut cover for the Dominator which might be a better albeit more expensive solution. Still cheaper than a retrimmer mind.
It's a plastic base, staples are 8mm x 10mm but feel a bit too heavy to be honest.
I've watched a few pros on eBay who seem to be using contact adhesive..

So I'm adding re-upholstering a motorbike seat to the list of things I can't do.
Fuck my life. It's clearly witchcraft, therefore I'm on the lookout for someone to do it for me. I got a quote locally for £150... Needless to say I could pick up a 2nd hand one up for much less but Id still like to get it recovered.
Has anyone had it done, and any recommendations?
