These are both great for everyday. Another Romanian Pinot Noir and a fake Amarone. Wild & Lees in Herne Hill stocks them.

Went to a Majestic tasting the other day and we usually end up liking a couple of wines to add to 'the list’ We both like Douro and Duero reds and this was our favourite despite a couple pouring their taster down the sink!?
https://www.majestic.co.uk/wines/condado-de-oriza-reserva-14851and on the back of a mention in the Guardian wine section I took a trip to Lidl for a bottle of this:
https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/270-alta-expression/p10012061
Same producer Pagos Del Rey and while not a Reserva it would appear to have some time in oak as the label refers to 270 days ageing.
it’s likely based on one of these wines https://www.pagosdelrey.com/en/wines/?_region=do-ribera-del-duero
will see how they compare but the Majestic is a bargain IMHO -

Anyone got any good recommendations down between Avignon and the Ventoux? Got half a day to kill on Saturday and a glass or two after the short ride once I'm down there would be fun

spoilt for choice around there.
vacqueras and gigondas have plenty to offer. there used to be (and probably still is) a good cooperative cave in Gigondas where you can buy wine from some of the local producers.
Guide Hachet is your friend if you want to visit specific vignerons.

Trip to Lidl to buy something from their October wine tour but the Malbec Malbec was not in stock (wine made from high and low altitude grapes) so went out of my comfort zone and a pinot noir from Burgundy that is not for fruit driven pinot fans according to the reviews.
It’s a banger for £6.99, quite savory but well balanced but it’s one of those wines that will be a bit divisive. It’s a for drinking with your favourite potato based snack.

I tend to get quite a few LFGSS Christmas orders which is always much appreciated!
I now live in Folkestone & use either UPS or APC Overnight for UK wide deliveries - so you don't even have to meet me in person 🤣

Any change of reposting your range and prices?

Price range? I seem to end up in the Yarra once a year for a work conference and the wineries we go to are a bit shit. That said, they took us to Four Pillars for a gin tasting this year... seemed brave for the start of an evening.

Ive still not had the chance to try the https://www.squerryes.co.uk/ 2018 sparkling, working by the weather I'd expect it to be good, ive tried their standard - hard to say when to use it/ what to pair it with cos in wine tasting terms it flushes from the earth it's grown from

The range is on our website - lasseaux.com
As for the prices, the euro prices shown on our website happen to match the current UK trade prices.
For example, our Pole Position Brut is priced at 30€, current exchange rate makes a bottle £25. -

I can happily attest to the fact that 'Champagne Vince's' Champagne is, in fact, the 'top shit'.
Apologies if I have mis-apostrophied that.

Is the website the best place to buy from within France, or do you have a preferred distributor? I'm in Lyon if it makes a difference?

The Cune white Rioja Waitrose have is also super nice
