I'm not sure this is fact.

It isn't fact, as there are loads of strands of thought.

Today's conversation went something like this: "We didn't have that before, a guy like that leading ..." and I (German) just went "We did! It wasn't very good."

Very interesting reading that from today's viewpoint. Seems like liberalism's fightback was too little too late.

I've been listing to The Rest is History a lot this year. One thing that has really struck me is the pattern of a set of character traits in some of those involved in assassinations (e.g. Gabrielle Princip and Lee Harvey Oswald) and modern day mass shooters.
