They do look like something off a soap opera don't they.
Dad is in property. Gets involved in dodgy dealings and has to flee to Spain. Worried about finances mum finds a sugar daddy to support the family. The upheaval sends son down the wrong path. Son meets good girl who sees his inner light. Good girl's parents forbid the relationship.
Good girl's best mate loves her, but she doesn't see it. Son's mates burn down the coffee shop/rec/etc. Son tries to stop the blaze, but everyone assumes it was him. Best mate takes the fall despite wanting the son to go down.
Tune in for S2.
