  • This is rad. Any updates?

  • Yeh some stone arrived ready for putting soak away drains in/ improving the current not very effective drains and a local groundwork company kindly loaned us a JCB for the morning which did an awesome job of scraping off all the old muck, overgrowth and mixed stone that had been used so the main area is now level.
It’s now much safer to work in and move vehicles about, easier to put the drainage channels in and easier to mark out the new balance bike loop.
Lots still to do! Weather has not been helping

  • This is great- well done all involved

  • Big 8 wheel tippers are so cool! The guy driving spun this thing round easier than I turned my van in the car park, and then dumped the load exactly on the spot I pointed to! V impressive.

  • Yeh sorry lots I forgot to post.
More MOT came and got shifted across the park, last few bits levelled out and weeds cleared, and now we’ve started trail building which is going really well.
Last weekend we had the first volunteer work day rather than just John and his machines.
Top surface has also arrived last Friday ready to start laying down this weekend by a few people whilst the more skilled builders carry on laying out the last features and levelling.
Finally got my son digging a bit last week so he’s well pleased that he’s built a bit of trail himself and moved about 2 tons of stone with a bit of help from me.

  • We’ve had some big help locally from Josh Robinson ground work who lent John the 3 ton tipper that’s been used to move most of the material across the park, Wright Hire lent him a newer digger than he has and Farmer John has done at least 10 days of free work on this now, what a champion.
So far no issues with park users or the car park and we now have Harris fencing round all the new features whilst they settle and are finished.
