the Democrats are cunts
They've done fuck all to even acknowledge that most Americans have been left behind. All the people on minimum wage jobs living in cars and motels. All the families bankrupted when one of them gets cancer. They need Bernie Sanders for president. But there's so much hysteria about socialism that a left winger could never be a populist in the US.

This is what I’m thinking too. OSS not so much the republicans winning, it’s the democrats losing.

There's a lot in this, but I think it's more than that. The focus on socially progressive/left issues while simultaneously ignoring the economic ones over a period of time has had a real impact. I wonder if part of it is that they're cheaper and lower effort than meaningful economic change.

This, and that the Democrats were not an attractive alternative.
For all that we love them over here, they haven't done anything to fix healthcare, the housing crisis, homelessness and massive inequality, or international relations.
Their only solution ever seems to be to start another war.
And just because I think the Democrats are cunts does not mean I think Trump is any better
