The retailer BEAMS in Japan, which always gets cool limited edition Seikos (usually with a black colour theme) just announced this - https://www.instagram.com/p/DCAMrEVT8RI/

All black, with a black translucent dial and even a black PVD bracelet which Seiko don’t often do. Pretty cool. Only 300 units.

"All" black except for the bl**dy white day and date dials. Why oh why do they do this, it looks so glaring and awful?

Oh, I quite like it like that, it matches the lume and the hands. It probably works better with the translucent dial than black would as well, but it’s all personal preference innit.
