  • I suspect that Jenrick would always win that contest, but it doesn't matter as Reform can always go further. It's a fruitless contest which the Tories can't win.

  • Day 1 and Keni is already showing she’s a true Tory.
    Partygate overblown.

  • She (Badenoch) said: "I think that the best thing will be when we get to a point where the colour of your skin is no more remarkable than the colour of your eyes, or the colour of your hair.

  • I wonder if she had a dream

  • Priti Patel as shadow foreign secretary. Mel Stride as Shadow Chancellor.

  • I honestly thought you were joking, like making up the worst possible shadow cabinet, but I've just seen it's actually true. 🤪

  • The talent, and I use that word advisedly, pool she is selecting from is more of a shallow puddle.

  • With that cabinet they’ve guaranteed not being in power again for at least a decade

  • Jenrick as shadow justice secretary now.

  • Starmer can bat off any criticisms at the first PM's Questions by just stating
that Badenoch is not a serious politician, given the shadow cabinet she has picked.
Jenrick: rejected by the Tory party membership,
Stride: rejected by the Tory parliamentary party,
Patel: a certified bully and sacked by a former Tory PM.

  • Maybe the hard time which the media is going to inevitably give her, is well-deserved.

  • Apparently they don't even have enough mp's to cover shadow roles? 🤣

  • Call up the Lib Dems, time to get the band back together.

  • Chris Philp as shadow home secretary. FML.

  • Francois Shadow Defence Secretary…

On an unrelated note, have those alleged investigations finished now?

  • Like assembling a shadow cabinet from the Reduced To Clear section.

  • I thought he enjoyed cos-playing with the Essex Constabulary?

  • I could assemble a more credible one from Lego.

  • Every Tory MP could have a shadow role.
Given Cleverly & Hunt, at least, want no part of this pantomime, some lucky Tory MPs will have two shadow roles.

  • I'm confused about this idea that there aren't enough Tories for a shadow cabinet thing? Are there 100 weird shadow roles I don't know about?

  • Yeah, stacks of deputies and spokespersons and whips etc, but there are only 21 official government front benchers who get paid.

  • I feel safer knowing he’s around
