I had this, and I found it’s because most modern routers won’t support a lower wifi standard. I solved this by finding an old router and connecting the iPad to that, and not a modern router. Worth checking what WiFi standard the iPad supports, and maybe finding an old router that’ll work with it (eg my eero mesh set up didn’t like the iPad, an old TP link travel router did)
I have a 2012 iPad that my 5yo son uses occasionally for games. Over the weekend something happened and it's factory reset itself and needs activation. For some reason it refuses to connect to my wifi. I don't have a machine running itunes so I can't set it up that way. What are my options here?
