I went a couple of weeks ago. Booked the day before with plenty of slots available which feels like it didn't used to be the case.
One of those where you can tell it's not going to go smoothly, spent ages prodding at my arm, asked a couple of times if this was the arm I normally donate from. Eventually stuck a needle in and then had to get someone to come over to adjust it.
Donation was fine after that apart from a comedy bruise though.
