Bristol rents

A bit off topic (but hopefully the right section), Bristol rents are high? Is £150+ a week per room in a shared house normal? Split between 5 or 6 people that seems to be what it works out as.

Asking because my lad is there looking for student digs for next year. He does ride fixed gear.

Sounds about right, depending on location. Rent close to the uni (Clifton) is pretty high, I lived in a very basic house, with four others when I was there, it was £500 pcm and this was 4 years back.

Prices in Bristol in particular seem to be rocketing up. Crazy system.
