Since discovered that Decathlon apparently have collection boxes by their front doors for tubes so will give that a go and report back.
They do indeed, saw them inside the Surrey Quays branch front door last weekend.
Brixton cycles recycles tyres but there's a donation/purchase involved there.

I let my mate know he does a lot off inner tubes on sportives.

FYI I finally dropped my tubes off at Decathlon (Southside) and they even had a tyre recycling box too

I sold half a carrier bag worth of punctured inner tubes that would be easily repaired for a tenner on eBay. Went pretty quickly too.

London Bike Kitchen in Hackney recycle tyres without charge IIRC. Worth giving them a call to confirm.

Does anybody know of inner tube recycling place where I can post a box?
Happy to contribute some costs. There must be 40-50 tubes collected over a few years.
Any pointers much appreciated. -

Offer them here to some people that might patch and use? I'd take 10 for example.
Hey All
I've patched a great many but got loads of punctured inner tubes I want to shift.
I found this website that works with a bunch of LBSs to recycle them but there's a small fee.

For tyres though, does anyone know where I can recycle these (SW London)?
I won't send them to landfill but thought I'd check before wasting a tenner getting rid of the accrued pile I (and old housemates) have got.
