Only just used the 'share in another thread' function. Pretty sweet feature!

I 'embedded' a pic from the hh thread in the porn thread. Click share, then select lfgss from the available apps. It give you tha option to search for a thread where you want to post it.

If there's a break in mobile signal/reception then you sometimes get the little red circle error and posts or threads won't load. Is there a way to enable you to ask it to try again? Currently you have to shut down the app and restart it to see those posts/thread titles

I always restart in this case, like all my android apps when they break down. It restarts really quick, but indeed would be nice to just refresh, since my add* makes me forget what I was doing.

An observation:

The Search function UX seems to have two too many touch presses in it:

1) From the home screen I press the search button.

2) Then I have to press in the search term input box to give it focus.

3) Once I've finished typing my search term I hit the tick button on the keyboard.

4) Now I have to press search to actually initiate the search.

Number 2 of those could certainly be got rid of with an auto focus. I don't know if you can combine 3 and 4, it probably depends on the text entry method being used by the user, so maybe not.

My ideal flow would be: hit search on home page; type a teem; press tick; see results list.

After that first search the user could then filter with further options and refinements etc, but the main use case would be streamlined.

Agree 100%. The search function needs some care and attention. @PhilDAS also had some good points about how searching interacts with the back button. I'll try to do it all at the same time.

Anyone elses app stopped working?
Loads today and following etc but clicking any thread just gives the red error.

I was playing whack-a-mole with some AI scrapers and bots.

I have put LFGSSMobile/1.0.32 (android;cyclotron3k) on an allow list, but am blocking Dart/3.5 (dart:io).

Let me check... oh yeah, it's me... a lot of requests from the app are sending the Dart user agent which I am blocking rather than the LFGSSMobile user agent.

I'll remove that block.
