  • Probably not the best place to sell this, but thought I'd give it a try here before the dreaded eBay. *** Sold ***

These had FANTASTIC reviews when new. I bought it new with the upgraded 25th anniversary XT groupset, Hope brakes, Reba SL forks and Mavic 717 wheelset from Merlin. An I've still got the receipt and papers for it. I then proceded to buy lots of trinkets for it, to shave some weight off. Although ultimately I hardly ever rode it, it's done approx 100 gentle miles, and it's always been stored dry.

It's the Paul Sadoff signed frame version. With Ultralite Race Easton tubes, in black. I can't see a single scratch, chip, or any signs of cable rub on it. I also can't see any foot/heel rub on the cranks. Properly great condition! Theres are a few chips on the DMR V12 pedals, but that happens just by looking at them..

    Brief specs:

    • 25th Anniversary Shimano XT throughout, with the shadow mech.
    • Reba SL forks, with a fork pump included.
    • Hope Mono Mini brake set, with braided hoses, floating rotors and some spare pads.
    • Thompson stem, with ti bolts.
    • Easton Monkey Lite SL carbon bars, with Ritchey foam grips.
    • Mavic 717 rims, XT hubs and black DT spokes wheelset.
    • Bearbone TI Pro Lite scandium seat post, with a Selle Italia SLR (135g) saddle.
    • DMR V12 pedals with the ridiculous upgraded ti shafts. An I think theres an unused "DMR pimp kit" for them somewhere.
    • Continental Supersonic Speed King tyres (2.3 & 2.1)
    • Lightweight KCNC quick release for the hubs and seatpost, a ti bottle cage, and a further handful of ti bolts throughout.

Haven't got a clue what it's worth, but weight wise now it's probably a light XC bike for £425. An it almost in as new condition. (No dibs, please) SOLD

Worth a view to see the condition of it. I'm in Bromley, but can meet you at Bromley South Rail Station (15 mins from Victoria) if that's more convenient.
Could possibly post also, although I'd have to harass Halfords for a box.

    great bike

  • Bargain 26" funtimez.

  • Rad bike - glws

  • Length of effective TT please

  • Never quite sure how to measure these with sloping tubes?

But this linkie discusses the 19" Rocklobster frame dimensions, including the TT http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12560370

  • How tall are you mate?

  • 6'1" / 6'2"
As pictured the saddle is set up for road riding. For off road use it would be lower.

  • After 7 years of very occasionally riding it this is back up for sale as I've bought a slightly more modern xc bike.

Now running 1x, 42t cassette expander and hope-stans wheels. Also has a set of slightly gnarlier tyres. I can include the original xt wheels but the freehub is a bit dodgy hence the new wheels.

Took this round Dalby red last week, tonnes of fun.

Bike is in York and I'd like £425/450 posted which is what I paid but it has an Extra wheelset now 😬.
