Yeah his interview style is so weird. Like he’s prerecorded the questions a week ago.

So horrifically divisive, - the djs aren't being given a fair job. and as for having to do interviews.. with any dippy pretensions fucker smarming to the stations pretentiousness just gives it the kiss of death

So at the moment its all about amyl which is ok but never understand why they keep bringing jamie xx back

I think they must be pre-recorded because they're on at 6:30am (normally - I find his morning show the most grating thing on the station) as the responses are too well thought out for a live interview. No ums or ahhs.

I applied for tickets for the live recording, but obviously didn't get them!

Well we didnt have that skinny bloke from monday night all over it so that helps . Our mate rob spoke highly of the bbc . If only they thought highly of indie music we may see more live stuff like this. The pop stuff is on radio 2 live.

Just watched The Cure doing their 6 Music show. I'm not a particularly big fan but, damn, that was a stunning performance!!

They've always been great live and value for money. It's not uncommon for them to do a 3 hour show!

3 hours - wow!

It’s sounds harsh and I don’t mean to sound horrible but he’s not right for radio.

He really grates on me. When he was at Radio 1, he was gone pretty quickly because he’s quite irritating.

I’m actually used to, and quite fond of Nick Grimshaw now.

I've said it before but I've found a really funny thing of a presenter being perfectly ok until I'm told they are really annoying then I slowly come to the same conclusion

Same, he's toned things down. I was hoping he might get MAHs slot. Her breathy moonbeam approach is getting worserer.

Yeah her sycophantic mooning is a bit much

I dislike her breathy tone and random laughs at nothing annoying. But her music choices are awesome. Techno Tuesday is one of the highlights of my weeks listening.

Same. Finding out he actually has a decent taste in music has cast him in a whole new light, to me at least. A bit of a High Fidelity effect having felt like I've peered into his CD rack.
