I couldn’t get a pic of the Amityville one. It was a Great White with half a diver hanging out of its mouth.

I rode through Wighton one weekend during the scarecrow festival, and that felt a little bit strange seeing them everywhere in the village

Quite an eventful ride in this morning. It's not odd to see drivers watching videos on the dashboard whilst driving, but the first time seeing a fellow commuter doing so on their handlebars complete with wired headphones. Then spotted a fantastic flat bar and had a chat with the owner, enjoy the pump track this afternoon brother. Finally got knocked off by a Lime bike user running a red light near work, sore ankle and scratched paint. The commuter in question blamed me for crossing on a green man. otherwise 8/10 would ride again.

I spotted someone watching South Park as they were cycling through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel last week. Wild.
I've spent the last few days in Copenhagen, thoroughly enjoying a city actually built for human beings. I'm not really looking forward to the hostility of a London commute tomorrow!

I sat at some lights in Bermondsey a while ago and a motorcyclist weaved through watching TikTok videos on his mounted phone.

Absolute fucking wacky races this morning, and so much traffic. At least 2 near death experiences in Catford and on the A202. I need to make more time and go the long way around on C4.

One guy, who seemed to be a commuter from not so long, tailgated me then brakechecked me at red light. Harsh words throw at him, that prick told me "red light". So why you overtake me ? I was about to turn because we can ran red light in some case here in my country.

Although I work longer hours, this is something I enjoy, missing out on both rush hours of the day.
Peace and tranquility -

I always get a rather strong Marmitey smell when cycling down Galleywall Road in the mornings.
Is there a reason for this or do I always happen to cycle past during someone's breakfast routine? -

Brewery?
-
• #31890
Yeah there's a few breweries a road over so could be coming from that like Brun says.

Lovely ride home last night given tailwind and no backpack for once. Had Guy Garvey's finest hour in one of my ears coming down Pimlico Embankment as Bicycle Race by Queen came on. Felt like I was in a music video. Would recommend.

lovely out here in the midlands today, really nice light this morning, and i managed a cheeky 'mixed media' commute home at lunch.
10/10 would commute on a beautiful november day again.

Wow, these are great. Certainly more picturesque than today's commute through Croydon and Mitcham. Although that was pretty nice too.

cheers.

Did not appreciate the earlier alarm and the 17 miles over felt like a slog but after meaning to for ages, dropped in on the wizard works weekly coffee outdoors and it was well worth it.
A little spot devoid of any car noise with a great view of the city.

Been meaning to drop into that for ages as its not far off my commute. Was there much of a turnout?

This looks like a great idea, do most people already know eachother or is it open to any random passers by?

Would that be the Captain Kid pub (Wapping) on the other side of the river there, or have i lost my bearings being out of London so long??

Sounds about right to me.
I took a wrong turn and ended up, well I’m not sure, but everyone was friendly.
