Such a great looking bike – how do you find the coaster brake with a load?

it's not bad. i don't tend to ride this bike particularly fast so slowing isn't that much of an issue.
it's such a great little bike for just pootling around on. -

I carry 30+ year olds on it regularly ;-)

This was what sold me on UA also, we had an incident where we tipped over on the longtail, even with the clubhouse I was not happy with how that went.
UAs are the SUV of the cargo bike world. I’ve always maintained that if we got rammed the car would come off worse.

I've been in Copenhagen for a few hours. My partner is already sick of me pointing out and naming every cargo bike that goes past. We're staying on the same street as the Larry Vs Harry Shop so I'm not going to get any less annoying over the next couple of days.

These popped up on my Instagram feed today - no idea if available in UK and I definitely can’t afford, but I want one nonetheless

Is it? Same gear range as rohloff but only 9 gears? For basically the same price? Has any one here blown up a rohloff with a middrive?

Far cheaper than a Rohloff. At least from a a bulk purchase point of view. I really like the directness of it.
Nope, never seen a blown up Rohloff. Guy came in a while ago riding one dry for about 3.5k. It was fine. -

Orox with 4”ers is stuuuupid comfortable

Ok maybe makes sense then. Last I looked Into price to buy a hub shifter setup it was within 100€ of a rohloff from a shop. Low miles rohloffs generally trade here for under 500€ for a full setup so i sort of wrote it off at the time expecting enviolo pricing.

Are they good to ride with no e assist do you know?
-
• #14722
Yeah I wouldn’t just get one for a conversion.
From conversation, the majority of cargo companies are considering them, so far I’ve tested it on a Velloe.@MCamb this was an aspect of it that I was really surprised by. It rode really nicely without assist. FAR more direct than an Enviolo. Even being belt driven and a 40kg bike.

My partner has agreed to let me buy a Bullitt. The only condition is that we move to Copenhagen. Seems like a good deal. Popped in to the shop earlier, the Vigorelli homage was her favourite.

We took Dolly into the city today, but first a walk around the broad at the halfway point. Stupidly overkill for an 11kg dog, but I enjoy a workout. It’s a 25k round trip and the 15% bit is a struggle, not going to lie. There was also much needed coffee at Strangers.

This is exactly what I want to do with a minimax when I find one! How are you sticking it on a car roof? Thule pro ride? I saw a thread on Reddit I think and it looked a tiny bit bodged/sketchy...
That poor Rohloff :-(
