I've just noticed tonnes of rips/slashes on one of my tyres, some concerningly deep. Ive got these tyres front and back and the rips are only on the front tyre and only the non-drive-side of it. They are fairly new and very low mileage.
What the hell is going on... poor manufacturing and it's perishing? Some wanker has tried to slash my tyres? As far as I'm aware I don't lean it up against anything sharp on that side... Very odd
This is a kid carrier bike so I think I'm replacing the tyre straight away, keen for it not to reoccur with the next one...
Edit- I do park it in a bike hangar which has a wheel holder, I park it front wheel in the holder. I guess I'll be checking if that somehow has a sharp edge
