I use a MacRide with our Bullitt - it can get in the way, if you are used to standing up to pedal a lot. But other than that I've just found it incredibly useful.
I chose the MacRide because the saddle sits lower than the Shotgun seat. I bought extra mounting spacers, so I can use the seat across different bikes.

Bullitts are not made to carry children/people IMO. There isnt attention to detail to design for that purpose. Same goes for Omnium. They are hipster cargo bikes.

Does anyone have any experience using a shotgun seat with a Bullitt? Looks like it could be a bit annoying to pedal.
