  • New bike day here.

What's the deal with rotating the handlebars, I want them to be more forward/upright.
I guess I need to rotate all the controls back after?

  • Controls don't always rotate as they most likely have index holes / dimples they're located in.
Depends on what your setup is like and how much you need to adjust by.
I'd grab a few allen keys and start investigating.

Nice bike too, congratulations and ride safe :)

  • Nice,

Small rotations and you’ll probably be fine not moving the controls, larger rotations might need you to re-drill the peg hole.

Levers just rotate as everyone should be adjusting these to get a good reach angle so just undo the bolts and line them back up after you shift the bars.

  • I love ZR7's great choice - just loosen clamps bolts and move - as long as it's not too far you shouldn't get problems with tight cables - do check. Get the right torque's in when you retighten clamp - tis pretty important - happy motoring !

  • Holy shit that’s proper clean. What’s the mileage on that?

  • You can tweak the brakes and clutch levers when you rotate the bars up or down.

Usually people go for replacement bars such as renthals. Cheap, made in Manchester and different hand positions.
