This is bang on, cheers @amey that's done exactly what I need. Using it through my mobile, I set a duration of 100 calories, a primary target of 300w and I can just climb on and off every 20 calories and it'll pause the workout.
Done the same for distance as well. Set a duration of 10k, a primary target of 300w and again, can just climb on and off every 1km. Basement crossfit workouts, come at me.
I cant remember where I posted this but Garmin Connect lets you make workouts of whatever target you want, power/HR/time/distance/cadence. Its quite intuitive via their app and you can send it to a Garmin device to connect to your turbo.
