  • Is there any software out there that just let you 'free cycle'? Essentially, I'd like to set my turbo up so I could use it for CrossFit-esque workouts.

    For example, setting the resistance to 300 watts, and when I get on and start pedaling a timer pops up that shows me things like duration and calories.

  • I cant remember where I posted this but Garmin Connect lets you make workouts of whatever target you want, power/HR/time/distance/cadence. Its quite intuitive via their app and you can send it to a Garmin device to connect to your turbo.

  • This is bang on, cheers @amey that's done exactly what I need. Using it through my mobile, I set a duration of 100 calories, a primary target of 300w and I can just climb on and off every 20 calories and it'll pause the workout.

    Done the same for distance as well. Set a duration of 10k, a primary target of 300w and again, can just climb on and off every 1km. Basement crossfit workouts, come at me.
