This is the identical to my first one, albeit with a white face instead of black. That’s the one G that I miss more than any other watch.

Also, about 30 years ago when I owned it.

Very tempted to buy the solar version of that watch.

Yeah, I replaced the battery and then promptly forgot and took it in the pool. Display when Fritz briefly then it died.

Ah yeah that would do it.

I resurrected my transformers watch as a child by putting it in the airing cupboard after dropping in the lav. (Fortunately B4 it was cool)

I believe similar techniques involve dry rice / silica gel and a new battery.

Hopefully before you used/after you flushed.

You mean horological? I kinda know what it is but as its actually a gift from the soon to be Mrs CB so I'll wait for the day to reveal it.

Does anyone have one of the Swatch/Omega collab watches? They’re not too pricey, might be a nice option for wearing on the bike.
