  • I found myself in a situation where I have to transport a child and his bike every morning to daycare. This is a solution I came up with during the weekend.

    1. Lift the front wheel to the support hook
    2. Tighten straps, weight is now on the straps/rack, not the support.
    3. Ride.

    Based on the first try this morning it seems to work rather well. Bike stays where it should and doesn't move or make any noises. 3-point turns are most likely a pain. Will I die if I keep using this or should I change something?

  • Front box use not an option? If not a FollowMe could be an easier option for everyday use.

  • It looks OK to me.

    In similar circumstances I fixed daughter's bike to the side of the box with cable ties, which worked fine too. A bit of pipe insulation to stop rubbing at critical points, etc...
