  • Well there is early rider, which is a great option if your dad isn't a frame builder

  • This is not sooo idiotic is it

  • If you can't afford a second Hulsroy, there's always Earlyrider

  • Have you investigated Wheeltop?
(chinese electronic derailleur for 7 to 13 speed). It would be a more affordable option. Not sure if the cage length would be a problem with small wheels however.

  • Second one as a second 20", I haven't got one to start with.

    Yet.

  • I will not be doing Pinion unless they the present me with a four figured offer. I just don't see the charm

I'm going to have to reconsider being adopted by you :(

  • Cest la vie

  • Cracking stuff, could probably finally defeat n+1 with something like this.

Is he running bar end shifter on the left side for rear derailleur? must be left handed?

  • Thanks
Yeah he is but I don't think he is left handed actually.

  • doing it for the love of the gram? huge respect

  • Absolutely not no

  • the content I live for, thanks @Hulsroy

the bending / grinding fixture where you can feed in a full length of stock is chef's kiss

  • Really enjoyed that. Love how much though has gone into the production process.

    <3

  • This is good #content

  • Thanks buddy. We ain't done yet. Hoping to be able keep progressing in 2025

Would only save a few seconds but I wonder if you could just keep bending and bending and end up with a spiral of wire to then do a single cut through like 10 cages worth. Kind of like how Velocity do alloy rims

  • Not in this setup no. This bending/cutting setup does all the different cages setups buy using different stops and cut positions. The rod also only comes in 3m length and that makes 5-6 cages per rod depending on the cage. Had it been from a big reel it might have made sense do what you are suggesting

  • Makes sense. You've got what works for you dialled it seems 🤌

  • The trick is obviously to get mini -Hulsroy 1 and 2 involved in the production as early as possible. Think of all the possibilities with their small nimble fingers!

  • It's been a while

  • How did you clamp and mitre the oval down tube? Or is it round and just looks oval?

  • As well as adding lightness so you think the dimples with get aero gains? Glad to to see this coming together.

  • I just used these new to me alu thingies you see in the wise. Sort of self centers it and then I used my belt sander with 36mm drum to get it perfect. It's oval yes

  • Definitely. But I am having second thoughts about the Internal cable routing
