You can follow the same setup as the slam that stem .Just replace the top headset spacer,cup arrangement with a shallow one.Look on youtube,it s explained there.

Have you looked at lower stack stems as well? I had the same issue a couple of years ago and found a Ragley stem that had a few mm less stack than most which solved the issue.
That was for my polo bike which was a piece of shit and cost me fuck all. I was very used to crashing it as well so maybe best to play it safe with a BMW!

Oh yes good idea ! I'll look at the specs to see if i can gain the missing millimeters.
Honestly i dont think it will be dangerous to weld a small portion of steerer. It's just to get over the axis of the second screw of the stem. Now it's just under. Will see and update the topic.
