  • A lot of the time a podcast has interesting subject matter that is dragged down by annoying hosts.
    I think 'If Books Could Kill' has a good balance between good research and good delivery. I'm particularly impressed with the camp guy, seems super smart, has a very succinct way of pinpointing things.

    I've listened to nearly every episode of BTB, but the host just doesn't have the interesting personality that he thinks he has. It seems as if he grew up in a very restrictive right wing, religious environment, which to him means that anything he can come up with that breaks with that tradition is somehow worth making a big deal about.
    Really, in terms of booze/drugs/sex/general slacker attitude he's about average compared to the LFGSS members I've met on forum rides.
