With ebay offering fee less free selling for private sellers, I've gone back to make live all my old unsold listings, to find that they've all been deleted. Anyone else had this happen to them. Really don't want to have to go through uploading photo's writing blurb for all the stuff I've already done this for.

Yes they disappear after a few (possibly 6) months.

The eBay Captcha crap, just keeps asking me to find the Pandas/Lions in a continuous loop FFS! I've used Opera, Brave, and at last Chrome got me through.

Is it just me it hates, or have I messed up a setting somewhere ? Thanks for any ideas.

Bought something 6 months ago listed as new, now no longer working. If I claim back via PayPal is that directly with the seller, or is there potential for it to be a black mark on my own eBay account?

Pretty sure private sales in the UK are a case of buyer beware (particularly after 6 months). Sale of goods act should cover it if you bought from a company.

If it's a private person, have you contacted them to ask for help? TBH though, they can tell you to get in the sea after all this time.

I sold some relatively high value vintage speakers on eBay in October.

All went smoothly. Seller gave positive feedback, told me they sounded great, and comms were good.

He’s now sent me a message (more than 30 days after delivery) saying he has opened them up and found damage. He is seeking a partial refund.

I think I’m in my rights just to refuse. Is that correct? I don’t want to be an a*** but the speaker could well have been damaged by him, right?

What would you do?

Just a heads up, if buyer paid with PayPal, they have 180 day buyer protection so could chase a refund through that.

Thanks. That’s helpful. As I say, I’m not trying to be a dick to him, so I’d rather come to some agreement that we’re both happy with, but want to know what my rights are I guess. Buying speakers that are 70 years old then not testing them for over a month seems a bit weird to me…

I’m sure eBay used to display an import fees cost for items in countries other than the uk but they don’t seem to do this now.

I’m still likely to get huckled for taxes and fees on these things right?
