Keen to keep it open to all types of bikes as some of us enjoy comfort these days.
Are you talking about those bikes with the funny chain tensioners that say 'Shimano', 'Campagnolo', or 'SRAM' on them?

Yeah, those things. I was talking about it to some friends that only own bikes with those funny chain tensioners and they seemed keen so I'd like to keep it open.

I thought they'd gone out of fashion, to be honest, but some people are just *so* backward.

Gonna bring the loudest freewheeling bike I possibly can...

Making me consider bringing my gravel bike now.

Hahah, yeah, I saw this. Luckily that's to the west. Would be a fun obstacle.

Bugger, I’m already committed to a beer festival. I’ll see if I can make the next one 👍

Looks dry and not too cold.

Just a PSA, there's a big far right demonstration (and counter demonstration) happening in central on Saturday. Should have all dispersed by the time you're all riding but be wary as there will possibly be pissed off (and pissed) Tommy Robinson types skulking about.

Anyone fancy hanging around and getting breakfast at the Billingsgate cafe?
Also feeder ride from tower bridge to the start?

Am out as my can't be bothered to move
Had a craving this past week to do a bridges ride and try and get a group to join too.
Will be riding Sat 26/10.
West to east route
Meet 1900 at One over the Ait, north side of Kew bridge.
Wheels roll 1930.
Bring snacks, drinks, water etc.
Keen to keep it open to all types of bikes as some of us enjoy comfort these days.
UPDATE: Starting point is different from normal as Hammersmith bridge is closed and heading south on Kew will mean that we still can cross Barnes bridge and have the simplest route.
