He averaged 1 in 3 at Burnley when we weren't neccessarily the most attacking of teams.
We'd amuse ourselves by looking at the list of all time premier league goalscorers and see him overtake players like Zola.

He's already our third in our list of Premier League scorers, behind Brian Roy and Stan Collymore. Not bad company (well Collymore might be).

Works either way - an Arsenal fan would have loved to see Tosin go just as much.
Definitely don't see the two episodes as identical though, Colwill's position making all the difference. Correct outcomes in both cases I'd say (red for Saliba, yellow for Tosin).
Two far more similar incidents were the penalty rightly given to Liverpool and the chop on Sancho just earlier at the other end which VAR didn't even review. As always, it's not VAR that's the problem, but the people using it!

Colwills position doesn't help, he's behind play!
If he was kind of level, either to the left or right, there may be a case, but he's at least t yards back. There is no allowance in the rules for whether that player is fast/faster than the attacker.

I truly don't think that will ever be beaten. No-one else has even been that close.
I'm amused to see that after 8 games we have as many points as we were relegated with when we stunk the place out. And now, more lovely CL action at Villa Park tonight.

The team that beats it requires a perfect storm of:
No financial freedom
Getting promotion when they shouldn’t have
A managerial mess
No coaching
No confidence
Ownership struggles
Players of madness
Playing the wrong kind of football in a league many levels above your outputIt’s not about having Robbie savage on the team.
It’s all the other shit. -

Getting promotion when they shouldn’t have
I was at Wembley when we mugged WBA and said to my buddy after, it won't get better than this, next season will be awful.
I only wish I'd backed that feeling up at the bookies.

^^ Is this some kind of acrostic that spells out Robbie Savage?
Rubbish football.
Ownership struggles
Bad manager(s).
Bonkers playing styles
Internal board issues

Less than 10 years since relegation, two years on from Toxic Stevie G, it’s nothing short of remarkable.
Football, bloody hell

Hold on, where’s that Liverpool rollercoaster graph. I just need to make some alterations…..
But seriously it’s quite bonkers.

Lulz Joe. 2 years tomorrow since Unai took over from Slippy G and have the 4th most PL points in that time.
Got to 7th from 17th. Then finished 4th. Still 4th this season. Not Spursy at all - incredibly consistent.
Will be interesting to see if we can challenge the top 3. There's a core of incredible young talents, but ffp/psr will make it hard to keep hold of them. -
