Honeymoon period but I love it. It's wears pleasantly small for a 40mm with 42 at the shoulders more like 39 mm overall. The dial is amazing the indices dip in as well as the tips of the hands so has loads of depth for a thin watch. The movement??? Who knows. The bracelet feels great and had a clever push clasp micro adjust that would improve any bracelet I can think of. The purple one looks great but it's Tantalum and could be over 5k and will absolutely tank in price. This is 6 months old mint and I just paid about 60% RRP. I was after a silver Tudor Royal 38 which I've tried on a couple of times but this looks like it could cost twice as much but actually cost me a less. I was also looking at the Bulgari solo tempo 38 and B&M Riviera 39 but at the moment very happy with this.

Trying on the thicker Darlena diver style strap. More rugged, a bit more obtrusive than a nato. Probably get it back on one of those marine nationale style straps.

I've a Hamilton Khaki Field Expedition on the bracelet. I'd like to be able to swap the bracelet out for a strap from time to time, but finding it impossible to get any purchase on the spring bars with a normal tool. The gap is quite small, it's at a difficult angle and I can't seem to get the tool to grip on the spring bar. Is there a tool people would recommend? It tried tweezers but no luck.

If it’s like most bracelets you will need a very narrow spring bar tool. If you can’t get it, find a technical screwdriver that’s as narrow as the gap and either use it as-is or cut a V into it with a file.
Normally without a special tool to pinch both sides, you’ll scratch your inner lug trying to wiggle the bracelet end down, and make space for the bar to release diagonally.

Split the bracelet at the clasp so it's out of the way. Keep the watch held face down, if you have a holder then so much the better, but you really need to hold the watch head firmly. Then use a tweezer style tool to press down and pinch both sides of the bars. Keep pressing down on the bar as you pinch it together and move it away from the watch head. If you don't put enough downward pressure on it, the tool will slip off the spring bar.
Bergeon version of the tool:

There are cheaper alternatives available (and more expensive adjustable ones) but you get the idea.

Bergeon stuff is definitely in the nice-but-pricey category but it is the default professional Swiss gear.
Yes! Looks like a cacker of a watch.
