Having a clearout of some of my watch collection due to some unexpected bills. All items are in Bristol and will be posted by royal mail recorded delivery. Anyone local welcome to view
Left to right on main photo:
Seiko 7625-8233 automatic. Lovely watch from January 1968, Daini factory. 38mm case but wears bigger. Almost like a bezel-less vintage dive watch. Shares hands with the much loved 62MAS and has a similar grey sunburst dial. Lovely cream patina to lume. Has just had professional crown and stem replacement (highly recommend Richard Askham at https://thewatchspotblog.com) . Edit - Has a small hairline crack in acrylic crystal at 3pm by the line but don’t think it’s all the way through. New CNS nato. £200 SOLD
Seiko 7005-8062 automatic. June 1972, also Daini. Very similar to the previous watch but slightly later version and has quickset date. 38mm case. Same 62 Mas hands, Silver sunburst dial. Lume is in extremely good condition. New CNS Nato. £200 SOLD
Momentum Atlas Field watch. Derivative of the Citizen Promaster Tough but a good one! Very light, low profile titanium case, screw down crown, Japanese movement, sapphire domed crystal with AR coating. Fully lumed face! Shown on Nato but will provide original unused black cloth strap and box. A couple of very light marks to case but not that noticeable. I’ve travelled, surfed with and used this watch extensively and it’s not missed a beat. Battery just replaced. Grey Nato NO LONGER FOR SALE
Braun quartz watch. 38mm. Basic but stylish everyday watch. Dieter Rams inspired design. 22mm Watch Gecko strap, barely used. New battery. £30 SOLD
Haas & Cie quartz chronograph.40mm case. Think I bought this years ago just before I got into watches. Nothing special but a smart design. New battery. New Rios leather strap. £25 SOLD
Parnis Automatic. 42mm. Kind of a homage to IWC Portuguese. Actually amazed at the quality of the finishing on these, it’s really nice in person and much better than some more expensive watches I’ve owned. Textured face, blue hands, polished and brushed case etc. Automatic movement (think it’s a Seagull) with hand winding and 40 hour power reserve. Exhibition caseback. Blue leather Condor strap £50 SOLD
Garton Manual. 44mm. Fleiger style pilot’s watch. Another IWC homage but nicely done. Exhibition caseback. Seagull movement. Tried to remove some dust from the dial and lost a case screw so the movement is slightly loose, should be an easy replacement though. £20
Seiko SNE573 dive watch
BNIB, solar powered diver with compact 38mm case. Sapphire crystal. Really lovely watch, think this may become a future classic. This is the Japanese domestic version. Recently purchased but reculatantly selling to pay some unexpected bills £360
