  • You should just use contact Urbans if you want a good reliable tyre with tubes. Yet to puncture mine and it’s been about 3 years. In the lineup of similar tyres they’re light, low rolling resistance and grippy too

  • Pretty sure I have 50mm Contact Urbans on the Surly. They came with the bike. I've just done 400 and 600k audaxes on them and while they work thought they're maybe a little -too- industrial for the road Crux.

  • Grand Prix Urbans are the ones you want. Basically a thicker GP with the thread design from the Contact Urban.
    The ones I had were plenty grippy and didn’t suffer a single puncture with tubes
