Smart thermostats. I’ve gone back through the thread and both Hive and Tado seem to be the recommended options - that still the case?
I’m finally going to replace our old analogue one that controls a condensing boiler that serves the heating and feeds a hot water tank. Moving forward this vented tank will be replaced with an unvented system and eventually a heat pump will replace the boiler. I plan to put smart TRVs on the radiators too.
Lastly, I want it to work nicely with Home Assistant.
Any likely issues with either Hive or Tado in this case?
Thanks
On Tado here, for ~8 years. Apart from changing batteries a lot in the poorly insulated front bedroom, and needing to replace a receiver, it's been very useful. I can't imagine having to live with a one size fits all heating system now.
