You should just use contact Urbans if you want a good reliable tyre with tubes. Yet to puncture mine and it’s been about 3 years. In the lineup of similar tyres they’re light, low rolling resistance and grippy too
Pretty sure I have 50mm Contact Urbans on the Surly. They came with the bike. I've just done 400 and 600k audaxes on them and while they work thought they're maybe a little -too- industrial for the road Crux.
I've had a 4Season I got cheap in my tyre collection for years. I can't bring myself to use it. Makes me a little bit sick in my mouth. :D
I'd probably go for the 32mm GP5000 before one of them, even if the lifespan is half what I'd get out of more of a training tyre.
They're a bit cheaper now, since most tyres are now TL versions.
