I didn't permanently loose any big boois... Regular saves. I lost 4 seamoths and one mech due to mostly glitches.
Best glitch was at one point if I entered my mech, the water would instantly disappear. Normal gravity for me and the mechsuit so couldn't swim, float or drown. And there was an echo like being in a huge cavern!
If I used the move to a safe place button, everything was fine again. Meant the suit was useless from that point onwards

At times I was quite lost and others it's rather unforgiving, but overall I would recommend. I suspect there's a fair bit I've not scanned or collected though.
