I would expect that to be the case now with the lower end, just moves else where with a lesser of a risk now that the Swatch stuff has had it's day and normalised with sales. People might be looking for the next thing and go to the lower end of the market

Happy Friday all.
Anyone know which IWC brick bracelet fits this model?

It’s the IWA03301 I believe but they are notoriously pricey.
Also bear in mind there are different endlinks for the different models they put it on.

Happy Friday folks. This short length Uncle Straps repro rubber is such a winner. No more excess strap tail and even the buckle is really nicely done (smooth, nice finish, no ugly logo).

Thanks, yes the end links are my main concern to ensure they are correct.

Such a great watch.... I keep looking at them here in aus and the price is creeping up. Nearly grabbed one last year for $775 Aud. But wasn't working at the time so thought it best to save the redundancy payout for food and kids stuff...

One on the right, still going strong after years. Love them so much I bought another .

Do you have a link for the strap?
-

It's this one, in 20mm / short length. https://unlimitedstraps.com/collections/seiko/products/the-classic-gl831-rubber-diver-strap-19-20-21-22mm-1?variant=44773313708313
They do other colours but they're not readily available in the UK right now, and if you get them shipped to here they're more expensive. Their official site looks like a UK shop but it's not, they ship from the US:
https://unclestraps.com/en-gb/products/the-classic-gl831-rubber-diver-strap-20-22mm
Unlimited Straps used to be their UK shop but they were forced to change their name (the brand was formerly known as Uncle Seiko).

I’m hoping to pick up a Ploprof for a song, at some to be determined point in the future

That's a great field watch, but somehow find 1250€ a lot for a Hamilton.
(Edit for picture fix)

But it's well tempting.
Wanted something like this for a while, and find it hard to choose/there's something wrong with everything I look at.
Sinn 556 would be the obvious choice, but don't get on with the date. -

Downloaded timegrapher app on my phone and messed a bit at work with.
Results very close to real live situation.
Mido Powerwind COSC, Citizen Promaster full lume from amazon (as per advise on here),
Seiko SPB237 Willard and Seiko spb313 slim turtle, both suck balls big time, never again.

Ooooooof
I can hear the resale dropping.
-
• #79492
Willard is going for warranty service and I’m gonna slip in turtle in the same package for cheeky regulation request. Let see what happens
-
• #79493
Yeah price is a bit beyond what I’d like to pay. 556i is by far my most worn watch, easily 10:1 against anything else I have and the Hamilton isn’t that different. It’s helpful to talk myself out of it!

Using an external mic?
I bought a Weishi thing and was happy to have a ‘proper’ readout to regulate the Tissots.

I really like this, the titanium and cleaner dial compared to standard is really successful. I’ve been looking at the khaki range with a view to picking one up and if this had the a date it would be the one for me
-

If I didn't already have a Ti Khaki field already it'd be the one for me as well. Not bothered about a date but I do prefer the cleaner dial than mine and I prefer the hands and number font to the Field Murph and similar Hanhart Preventor

Yes inline microphone that comes with earbuds. Nothing special was just curious.
Also couldn't read/find good position for divers in 6 and 9 o'clock
Some one mentioned online that this app is good for having an idea when buying at auctions or vintage shops. -
• #79498
Might be the one for me as it has no date.
Don't need to know the date when in the field, no?
And the dial with less numbers is way better. -
• #79499
Yeah just saw it as well, quite liked the watch before, now kind off put off the brand altogether

New one landed today

I suppose this deserves a replacement crystal at some point. Bought from the junk shop pre-cracked, and feel like replacing it is just asking for me to scratch it up within 5 minutes.
