The AEG induction hob I bought had the option of adding the dial controller which I was intending to do.
Buttons work fine the vast majority of the time though, even with damp hands, so I didn't bother. Only annoying thing is when a pan boils over and you can't turn it down as the controls are swimming in water.
The cheap Bosch I had before that was shit and deeply annoying to use.
