For starters, there's a cable running along the downtube. No idea about the junction box and battery though. Perhaps integrated in the integralter?

You can see the wire under the downtube

Ah right, I always thought external wires = external battery somewhere

You can bodge it by using the drain hole in the BB shell to get wires in to an internal battery

Bloody hell props for that, no way I would have the patience.

Yeah, filing off the cable stops was excruciating, but the rest was actually heaps of fun. Only took a day or so.

Mind blown. I love stuff like this. Meanwhile I hung a bike up three months ago because I couldn’t get the mechanical front mech to work and not touched it since.
