  • Did I say I was buying race tyres? I already have GP5000s on these wheels. Look at the thickness and puncture ratings and then think about why the Pirelli might be slower.

    Shit, I know, why don't I just fit track tubs and hire a follow car full of spares to follow me everywhere? Genius!

    So, anyone using Pirelli Cinturato Velo TLR Tubeless 700C with tubes or have an opinion on how easy they are to fit, in general? I thought I'd ask before I pull the trigger on a set of 35s for my Roval Rapide road wheels for the Crux.

  • Yes, they're thicker and slower but still not as thick and slow as the Pirelli.

    But I'm not buying speed, I'm buying durability/longevity. I worry about speed when I need it.
