After selling my SeaQ I bought a Garmin Instinct but the lure was to great so today, I have a new to me watch. Something a little unusual but also a brand I have wanted to own for sometime even when buying my old Navitimer I did look at this brand at the time. In an era of when they were at their best.
Wonder if you can guess what it is, not a diver.

What do people think is happening in the second hand market in general- going to keep falling or stabilising now?
I don't know, but the hour hand market do seem to be in shortage.

In a form, not your normal

For such a cheap watch this is really great value. Not sure of another Ti watch that punches this hard.
Feels light as a feather which is bad for the ‘quality’ feel, but great for actual wearing.

Well the Breitling kinda suggested it would be land, sea or air. 😎

Reminds me I should wear my flashy Navitimer some point

Ha, sure.
Anyway it's just a nice rounded watch, might see if I can get a bracelet for it but love how this is different, need to read up on how the UTC function works etc

Difficult to say , some things are still tanking.
I’ve been on holiday so it’ll probably be different by the time I get home .
I wouldn’t want to be anyone who paid 15k for a submariner date 12 months ago mind you …. -

The OH’s dad has a 2004? Sub with well-worn bracelet, and generally good daily condition. The place he bought it from some years back wouldn’t buy it back at any value now apparently.

Sorry! I can’t work out how to use the PMs with someone I’ve not messaged before?
Here’s a pic of what I’ve got currently, but it’s slightly too small to hold everything. I’m just looking for a bigger version of this, made out of lovely wood and not mass produced.
Feel free to PM if you can. Thanks.

I have the spitfire version, love the jumping hour hand you set on landing, not that I have flown in a while.

When I was selling my SeaQ I tried a few places to sell it most would only sell it on my behalf and take a small commission.
This was early summer and I got the impression that these companies had a lot of stock they seemingly were finding it hard to sell at the time for the prices they needed to

Same happened with dad’s Tag. He waited a year and eventually they just sent it back to him.

Unfortunately I feel it’s not that uncommon with newer models coming out etc.
I was lucky and got a sale on eBay for what I had paid. But was a little touch and go

I lost money on every (classic Seamaster/Deville etc) Omega I sold, and they were nice 60’s/70’s ones. That was a few years ago and I don’t see the market ever got much stronger.
Bizarrely in the last few months I’ve seen the 70’s Tissot Seastar prices climb. Maybe people are buying the cheaper end because of this wobbly value proposition at the better end?

That's a lovely collection - it does amaze me when people have such great watches in off the shelf boxes.
I'll PM you I've some ideas!
Needs more text on the dial!
