  • Yeah fair enough, hopefully insurance will pull through and get the full cost instead 🤞

  • maybe worth contacting them and asking if they'd do a crash replacement discount?

  • Insurance money landed this morning, straight to the Brother Website and what do you know- 30% off Allday framsets!!!! couldn't have timed it better

  • I’m selling a 54cm Kepler in the classifieds

  • Did anybody see the instagram story by brother the other day, “shooting something exciting”?
Looked like a geared wombat with discs. Is brother releasing a Klunker?

  • I did see! Basically a wombat isn't it.

Could be pretty rad tbf, the world needs more klunkers

Edit: wouldn't it be a disc Mr wooden?

  • The forks looked straight ant segmented unlike the lugged and curved Mr Wooden forks.
I guess a disc wombat is the right comparison.

  • Yeah that's true, good memory!

    Looking forward to seeing it.

  • I saw it too but could have sworn it had rim brakes

  • This?

  • Anyone got a Stroma? how are they to ride

  • That's a mk1 big bro, no?

  • No idea.
    I'll get me coat.

  • Really enjoying my Allday, it's just been winterised in time for some fairly grim conditions yesterday

  • Stay a little longer, brother!

Were all anticipating a disc wombat!

  • I've had mine for about 18 months now. I enjoy it. It's been ridden through winter and what little summer we've had this year.
The fit works well for me. From memory it sits between the regular and tall fit Straels, and similar geo to Mason Resolution.
On 30c Schwalbe Pro Ones it's plenty comfy but still feels nimble, and quick to get up to speed.

  • Check out their new reel. Seems like we we all right. Looks like disc or canti/vs Wombat

  • Came here to post this...

    Looks rad af

  • That looks really fun. Is it 700c?

  • Hmm I was wondering the same thing, the wheels look small to me, well 26inch anyway.

In which cases I will stick with my idea of rebuilding my 1993 Kilauea I've had in the attic for 20 years.

  • 1993 Kilauea

That sounds a lot more fun anyways.
The Brother has Terafail tyres and they dont make 26 so it must be 27.5".

  • Yeah it's def going to be 650b/27.5.

Ive been looking for a 27.5 disc rigid mtb for the last fee months but keep coming up short (would love to find an All City Log Lady).

If this is single speed compatible it could tick the box.

  • Brother Big Bro can fit 27.5x3.0, no?

  • Yeah for sure, just don't really like the look of them.

Not really found anything I really fancy other than the log lady, oh and various custom jobs...

  • Also came to say this, well spotted on the disk tabs!

    Looks well fun
