  • Trump and Musk incarcerated - can we dream?

  • I think that's a pipe dream; he's rich far beyond the level where people escape accountability. Trump winning and giving him a cabinet position is significantly more likely, at which point - if he accepts it - the world is in for an epic shit storm even worse than what we'll get if just Trump gets back in.

The best reason for Musk not to accept such an offer would be that -if there's anything left afterwards - he might actually go to prison for his involvement in the lunacy.

  • WaPo has a comprehensive history of Musk's political interests. It's long but well worth a read https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2024/07/29/musk-trump-endorsement-immigration/ https://archive.ph/xqGWz

I keep hoping that Musk is having a slo-mo nervous breakdown, brought on by the public estrangement from his trans daughter and the humiliation of wrecking Twitter. But I think he's so thick skinned that he's immune to other people's criticism. If Trump gets in, Musk could do real damage by planting destructive ideas in his head. It would almost be fun to watch if it wasn't for the harm it would do to Ukraine.

  • Musk borrowed most of the money he paid for twitter. A lot was from Russia and Saudi Arabia. He has to do their bidding.

  • In debt to Putin and Bonesaw. I'd sooner owe Tony Soprano money

  • bold prediction, given theres news reported of calls between musk/trump camp multiple times a week, (sources say, if you can believe them) I would not be surprised if musk sees trumps cognitive decline and is positioning himself to become Trump 2.0 and inherit the MAGA-Army.

I predict Musk will leverage that to run for president within 20 years. possibly even next cycle.

  • He's ineligible

  • They'd have to change the constitution to do that, I think? Doesn't the Pres have to be born in the US?

  • Trump clearly thinks Musk is a fucking cockwomble and is using him. Musk is a Billy no-mates, desperate for validation.

    This too shall pass.

  • Yeah Trump despises Musk. It's obvious.

  • Someone 'colour-corrected' a photo of him, to show what he'd look like without the fake tan. It still haunts me to this day.

  • Found this on Reddit

  • If he were a mob boss?

  • It's Trump's wet dream but big mouths don't make for successful gangsters, right?

"To me being a gangster was better than being President of the United States"

  • Mob bosses make money from casinos.

  • And get stuff built in New York when practically all other building sites at the time was paralysed by various mob rackets.

  • Mob bosses make money from casinos.

    I snarfed.

...How much of a shit cunt do you have to be to lose money with one. Dude's like a fictional character in an absurd satire.

  • Trump's lies are getting even more extreme. E.g. saying the Capitol riot was 'a day of love'. The left are saying this is evidence of his dementia. But maybe it's a deliberate and clever technique for generating headlines? Harris has got headlines from a batch of challenging interviews, but has Trump deliberately trounced her with his 'love' bullshit? He didn't look out of control when he said it. Quite the opposite. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4FqJJW7WUE

  • Trump is a megalomaniac and is also strategically betting on ‘the devil you know’ cognitive hack. Many voters don’t know anything about Harris, and they prefer the psychological safety of voting for trump because they think at least they can predict his actions and impact. The more airtime trump is given, the less there is for Harris to put herself out there.

  • Oh yeah good god im a forgetful dumbass.

  • This season of America doesn't have quite the same intensity as season 1 and 2, but look closer and it has nearly the same entertainment value. The skits have become goofy rather than clever perhaps, but I guess every series eventually becomes self-referential at some point.
