All I want to do is put a disc tab on the back, would put one on the fork too but not sure it would be up to it. So will replace the fork with something 26 disc with braze-on mounts for cages.
Mayyyybe would try to crimp the stays for a little extra tyre clearance.
If you look back to pg.1 it has already had both seat and chainstays replaced by Geoff Roberts, otherwise it would still have a U Brake on the rear...

Doh, sorry, of course! The koga forks from that era always seem pretty heavy (at least, they are on my traveller), so some new forks wouldn’t be a bad shout if you’re keeping v brakes. Maybe they’re strong enough anyway for discs though?
That paint is great though, would you be able to find someone able to replicate it?

That's lovely! If it were mine, I don't think I'd be chopping that up to be fair. Or if you do want tweaks, just small changes like removing the canti cable hanger, a better seat post clamp, or creating a bit of extra tyre clearance and a new coat of paint?
