Anyone know what the other rental companies GreenMotion own are called?
Having no luck searching.
I know there's at least one they use.

It would be a crime to put a lid on that hair.

I saw him cycling with what I assume was his child in Dulwich a couple of years ago. Also looking very sharp.

Can anyone point me toward sources/forums for Larry vs Harry Bullitt builds/mods? Just got one yesterday and I am curious as to what DIY options there are! Maybe I'll be starting a mobile bike repair service with it :)

ah... no, terminated my account a couple of years ago. the German cargobike forum seems pretty active

Look at the cargo bike thread, I'm sure someone posted a link to a DIY bullitt box.

Just wanted to sense check, I need to repalce my bathroom fan, at the moment it is controlled with a pull cord. I want to replace with one that is controlled by the light switch. My sparky has quoted £175 labour + additional materials not including the fan itself. So the additional materials are things like cables and couduit etc. So he needs to wire the new fan into the loft and add an isolator outside of the bathroom and also replace the vent on the outside wall. Is £175 reasonable? His date rate is £265 and hourly rate is £50. This can't be half a day's work, can it?

Doesn't sound all that unreasonable to me.

Ime any sparky charging less than 300 a day in London is a good deal but to answer your question it could end up half a day but even if it's an hour or two what else can he book in during that time? I would imaging hourly only comes in to it when he has to change a light fitting or other really simple stuff.

Ideally, I'd get him in for a whole day, easier for both parties and I do have some other work, but those rooms are not ready. Guess just have to suck it up.

Sounds very reasonable based on my experiences.
And it probably is half a day, tbh, he’ll test and write out the paperwork once it’s installed. Or should.

I am just basing my surprised on his other quotes, for example, he changed me £105 + parts to install a new socket that includes lifitng the carpet, floorboard, making a hole on some brick walls, wiring etc. It was only a year ago. Maybe his overhead has gone up. I am in no way suggesting he is a cowboy, because he always spends time going throgh options with me. We have a cowboy living on our street who always want at least twice of what everyone else quotes for and has gradually fallen out with everyone.
Yes, he always does test and send paperwork/cert if required by law the following day.

Sounds like he’s a good sparky.

Can anyone suggest a company/website to supply and print in a run of 20-30 shirts with a supplied design? Cotton has got to be organic and ethically sourced.

It's almost impossible to hang around South London and not see a well-dressed Richard Ayoade on a Brompton. Or sometimes on foot.
He's surprisingly muscular these days too.

I also often see that Sir Friendzone bloke from Game of Thrones jumping red lights in Dulwich Village on a knackered old MTB.

If the artwork is screen-print suitable, Joel at Somerset Print Co is your guy. V competitive pricing and super helpful, but limited web presence.
